About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to join a project within the fintech industry.

You will be part of the Data Platform team and take ownership of our Snowflake-based data platform . You’ll be working with cutting-edge technologies like Airflow, Snowflake, and Terraform , ensuring seamless data flow, governance, and performance. This is a high-impact role , directly influencing our financial data operations.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Snowflake Administration – Manage users, roles, permissions, and governance.

✅ Data Pipelines & Workflow Orchestration – Build & maintain Airflow-based ETL pipelines .

✅ Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Implement and maintain Terraform-based infrastructure.

✅ Pipeline Maintenance & Optimization – Maintain financial data pipelines & S3 ingestion.

✅ New Data Integrations – Support new fintech projects, including loans, payment providers, and legacy data migration to Snowflake .

Who You Are

🔹 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform engineering .

🔹 Strong Python & SQL skills for ETL development and data transformation .

🔹 Expertise in Snowflake administration & performance tuning .

🔹 Experience with Airflow for workflow automation.

🔹 Hands-on experience with Terraform & AWS (S3, IAM, Lambda, etc.) .

🔹 Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices .

Nice-to-Have Skills

✨ Experience with Fivetran or other data ingestion tools.

✨ Familiarity with Business Data Tools (BDT) .

✨ Fintech/financial services background.

✨ Prior experience in legacy-to-Snowflake migration .
