- Scope of the Role
- As an Account Manager at 11 Agency, you serve as both the strategic partner to clients and the internal driver of execution. You’ll own the full lifecycle of success for each account—from strategy development and project planning to performance reporting and optimization. This role requires a blend of relationship management, marketing expertise, and operational excellence.
- Duties and ResponsibilitiesClient Strategy & Communication
- Lead all external communication via email, Slack, and Zoom
- Host weekly or bi-weekly client calls, sharing agendas, insights, and follow-ups
- Present retention strategies, campaign performance, and growth opportunities
- Retention Marketing & Account Health
- Develop and implement email/SMS retention strategies based on client goals
- Conduct Klaviyo health checks and update client roadmaps
- Monitor and optimize KPIs including deliverability, engagement, and revenue
- Campaign & Project Oversight
- Own monthly campaign planning aligned with strategic objectives
- Coordinate internal teams across copy, design, and development
- Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of all campaigns and flows
- Create detailed briefs and task assignments for internal teams
- Lead internal Pod Syncs, manage task boards, and escalate blockers
- Performance Reporting & Optimization
- Prepare and deliver weekly performance reports
- Plan and manage A/B testing initiatives
- Use benchmarks and past data to propose new retention plays
- Years of Experience
- Minimum 2+ years in account management, preferably within a marketing or eCommerce agency
- Background
- Strong understanding of retention marketing (email + SMS)
- Comfortable owning strategy, timelines, communication, and team coordination
- Confident in leading client calls and internal syncs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Professional video call setup with a neat background (verified during interviews)
- Tools and Software
- Proficiency with Klaviyo
- Experience working within project management and communication tools (e.g., Slack, Asana/ClickUp, Google Workspace)
- Familiarity with email/SMS marketing workflows and performance analytics
