• At Magoya, we’re looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Ag Expert to join our team and be a key part of a new strategic project in the digital agriculture space.
• This role is essential to ensuring that our discovery, implementation, and product iteration processes stay deeply connected to the real needs of equipment operators, field technicians, agronomists, and producers. If you enjoy combining agronomic and operational expertise with digital transformation, understanding user workflows, and shaping technology solutions that truly work in the field, this role is for you.
• What you’ll do
• - Bring deep agricultural and operational knowledge to guide product discovery and decision-making.
• - Participate in the Discovery phase of the project alongside a Product Manager and Researcher, helping map real workflows, pain points, and opportunities.
• - Validate hypotheses, processes, and feature definitions from an agronomic, machine-operation, and user-behavior perspective.
• - Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure the solutions we build align with real-world field operations.
• - Support user interviews, field observations, and the creation of user journeys related to harvesting workflows, machine operation, telematics usage, equipment settings, and performance monitoring.
• - Provide clarity on best practices in harvesting, equipment configuration, operational routines, and interactions between dealers, service teams, and end users.
• - Contribute to the iteration and implementation phases, offering continuous feedback as new features are tested and deployed.
• - Help ensure that digital tools and platforms deliver real value to operators, consultants, and producers.
• What we’re looking for
• - Experience working directly in agriculture, agronomy, machinery operation, or precision ag (dealers, agronomists, consultants, customer support in AgTech, digital farming roles, etc.).
• - Strong understanding of harvesting workflows, machinery operation, and/or telemetry and digital equipment data.
• - Experience with digital agriculture platforms (e.g., telematics dashboards, machine-monitoring tools, field operations platforms).
• - Ability to translate field reality into clear product insights and recommendations.
• - Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• - Comfort working in multidisciplinary teams (product, design, engineering, customer).
• - Advanced English level (spoken and written).
• - Based in Brazil and familiar with local agricultural practices.
