  • As Talkdesk grows and expands, compliance with data protection laws and regulations remains a major driver. At the same time, the privacy program must align with business objectives. Therefore, a comprehensive and holistic approach is crucial and must be ensured. And that is a major responsibility of the Privacy team where you will be joining. As part of this team, you will be facing several challenges, always supported by other team members and stakeholders. You will also have the opportunity to grow your knowledge in several privacy realms.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and delivery of the Talkdesk Privacy Strategy
  • Monitor and analyse privacy and data sovereignty regulations for existing and new markets/verticals
  • Based on previous analysis, define privacy requirements
  • Perform Data Protection Impacts Analysis (DPIAs)
  • Maintain Directory of Processing Activities
  • Support Sales for RFP regarding privacy
  • Manage customers’ security and privacy requirements
  • Review MSAs and DPAs
  • Support ISO 27701 and APEC framework
  • Develop and support specific metrics/KPIs

Requirements

  • lawyer with a degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Data Protection topics
  • Experience with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Knowledge of international privacy laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of international AI laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of ISO 27001 ISO 27701, and preferably 42001
  • Familiarity with the OneTrust Privacy tool is a plus
  • Highly organized and methodical
  • Ability to communicate effectively across various teams and levels
  • Good analytical skills
  • Solution-focused and critical thinking
  • Adaptability to changing environments

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Primarily office-environment work, extended periods of sitting or standing, computer-based work. Limited lifting, and equipment usage limited to computer-related equipment (keyboards, mouse, etc.)
