• Responsibilities

• The Opportunity
• Perform physicochemical analysis in foods using Basic and High-Technology Instrumentation in the analytical laboratory obtaining analytical insights needed to support new product development for R&D innovation agenda. The position will support product development for Foods and Beverage categories for all LATAM South region.
• Your Impact
• • Perform Foods Testing using Basic and High Technology Instrumentation - examples are: Gas and Liquid Chromatography, IR, NIR and and UV-VIS Spectroscopy, NMR Technology and others analysis in raw materials and finished products;
• • Implementation and Validation of new Analytical Methods in R&D Analytical Laboratory according to PepsiCo Global Protocol;
• • Development of Specific Instruments Calibrations for New Products;
• • Collaborate with Global Communities on key analytical initiatives around the globe;
• • Elaboration of Laboratory Operating Procedures;
• • Provide Training to Lab Technicians in the analytical laboratory;
• • Perform Basic maintenance to High Technology Instrumentation;
• • Laboratory consumables and chemicals inventory management;
• • Connect with different areas such as Sensory, Regulatory, Nutrition Sciences, attending the R&D innovation model;
• • Support QA activities into the Analytical function;
• • Perform statistical evaluation;

• Qualifications

• Who Are We Looking For?
• • A graduate of the career of Food Chemistry, Food Scientist or related.
• • Languages: Portuguese (native), Spanish Advanced, English: Conversational / Technical fluency
• • Basic software management (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
• • Statistical tools knowledge
