- In this role, you will lead the end-to-end analytics and data lifecycle for a sophisticated healthcare analytics platform, combining technical expertise with strategic leadership. You will manage and mentor a team of BI analysts and analytics engineers while actively contributing to data modeling, pipeline development, and reporting. The position requires close collaboration with clients, product, data engineering, and analytics teams to translate business and clinical needs into actionable insights. You will oversee dashboard creation, data governance, and process optimization, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and scalable analytics solutions. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and enjoys driving measurable impact through data.

Accountabilities
- Own the full analytics lifecycle, including requirements discovery, data modeling, ETL/ELT pipeline development, BI delivery, validation, and ongoing optimization
- Translate complex business and clinical questions into reliable, scalable data and analytics solutions
- Contribute hands-on to data engineering tasks, including SQL development, dbt transformations, and pipeline optimization
- Design and maintain customer-facing dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI
- Serve as the primary analytics partner for clients, presenting insights and recommendations to technical and executive stakeholders
- Lead, mentor, and support BI analysts and analytics engineers, establishing best practices for SQL, data modeling, and dashboard design
- Champion data governance, security, and quality standards while identifying opportunities to improve metrics, automation, and analytics processes
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering, including leadership of analytics initiatives or teams
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and analytics workflows
- Proven experience with data warehouses such as AWS Redshift or Snowflake, and transformation tools like dbt
- Expertise in modern BI tools, with hands-on experience building dashboards and visualizations
- Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and analytics tasks
- Excellent client-facing communication skills in English, with the ability to lead meetings and deliver presentations
- Experience mentoring team members and working in Agile environments (Jira, Confluence)
- Analytical, detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Healthcare domain experience (claims, EHR/EMR, population health, value-based care metrics) is a strong plus
- Familiarity with US healthcare analytics, broader AWS ecosystem, CI/CD pipelines, and advanced analytics or machine learning is desirable
