We are seeking an experienced Android IoT Developer to create a robust networking and communication layer that connects Phone/iPad to Wi-Fi and then to an Android tablet. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IoT protocols and experience in developing reliable network solutions for mobile applications. We are an early-stage hardware + software startup building a product for the soccer / futbol industry. We already have a working hardware prototype powered by an Android 11 RK3568 embedded board, factory control board, LED lighting, sensors. We are looking to do the following: 1. Create a Local Server on Android. Implement an HTTP and/or WebSocket server running directly on our Android 11 RK3568 tablet. Enable two-way communication between mobile devices and the smart goal over local Wi-Fi. 2. Build Communication Bridge (Tablet ↔ Control Board) Use USB OTG or UART/serial to send/receive commands between the Android tablet and the factory microcontroller board. Implement a simple command protocol (e.g., start game, show LED effects, read sensor events). 3. Build Clean API Endpoints API endpoints for: /startGame /stopGame /setMode /triggerLED /getStatus (Your recommendation welcome) 4. Handle Two-Way Real-Time Data Tablet receives real-time sensor events from control board. Tablet forwards real-time events to phone/iPad via WebSocket or HTTP. 5. Ensure Stability & Low Latency Reliable communication loop: Phone → Wi-Fi → Tablet → Serial → Board Board → Serial → Tablet → Wi-Fi → Phone This must work seamlessly for live demos.
