I am looking for a highly skilled 3D character artist who can create a complete Buddha-style character from start to finish, based on the attached reference images. This includes sculpting or modeling the character, designing the robes, rigging the body and face, and setting up beautiful, realistic cloth simulation that works inside Character Creator 4/5, iClone 8, and is ready for export to Unreal Engine 5. Project Overview I want to bring to life a serene, realistic, and visually stunning Buddha character, inspired by the reference images attached. The artist will be responsible for the full creation pipeline, including the character model, robe design, rigging, and cloth physics setup. The goal is a production-quality character suitable for close-up cinematics. ⸻ Responsibilities • Create a complete Buddha-style 3D character, matching the look and feel of the reference images • Sculpt/model the head, body, hands, feet, and overall stylization that matches the source images • Design and create the monk robes, including folds, layers, and fabric detail • Build the clothing for real-world movement (not just skinned geometry) • Import the final model into Character Creator 4/5 • Apply full body and facial rigging compatible with iClone 8 • Create realistic cloth physics and weight maps for the robes (so they move beautifully, without clipping or distortion) • Optimize the character for animation inside iClone 8 • Prepare the model for Unreal Engine 5 Live Link and/or Chaos Cloth workflow • Provide a short test animation demonstrating robe movement ⸻ Requirements • Proven experience with Character Creator & iClone 8 character creation • Ability to model stylized or semi-realistic human characters from reference • Strong expertise in Marvelous Designer / Blender / Maya cloth workflows • Deep understanding of cloth physics, weight painting, and simulation setup • Knowledge of retopology, UVs, and clean topology for animation • Experience exporting to Unreal Engine 5 • Portfolio showing characters with flowing garments or robes (required) ⸻ Deliverables • Fully modeled Buddha character inspired by the provided reference images • Complete CC4/CC5 character with facial rig, body rig, and proper weighting • Monk robes set up with realistic cloth simulation • Final iClone 8-ready character file • UE5-ready export (FBX or CC Live Link profile) • Short physics test animation showing cloth behavior • Source project files (MD/Blender/CC4 as applicable) ⸻ Ideal Candidate • Strong sense of anatomy, proportion, and character aesthetics • Deep understanding of fabric motion and simulation realism • Able to capture the peaceful, elegant look of traditional Buddha artwork • Communicates well and provides progress updates • Pays close attention to detail, especially in folds, draping, and silhouette ⸻ To Apply, Please Include: 1.
