- Business Analyst - Treasury LATAM
- Adyen is looking for a Business Analyst to join the Merchant Finance and Treasury team in São Paulo. As Merchant Finance & Treasury we are the financial backbone of Adyen; optimizing and automating financial processes for scale, mitigating risks, and enabling growth through customer-centricity, operational excellence, innovation and integrity.
- This is a varied, hands-on role in which you will execute, monitor, and reconcile high-volume daily payout processes to ensure timely and accurate disbursements to our Merchants. Your responsibilities will range from solving daily operational problems and optimising our financial processes, to ensure we scale for the future.
- What you’ll do
- Monitor our daily Payouts operation, managing exceptions, failures and rejects, working with external partners and internal teams to solve issues swiftly;
- Monitor and execute daily Cash-Management operations to ensure balances are available to cover the Payouts.
- Improve internal daily processes, with a focus on payouts to merchants, to help scale our business;
- Provide internal stakeholders with insights into our key financial and operational processes to influence key decision making and help Adyen scale further;
- Use Data analysis to solve business problems; draw conclusions and recommendations for optimization and automation;
- Partner with our technical and products teams to design,automate and improve our processes as well as having controls and monitoring in place;
- Build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective management and communication of progress to all parties.
- Who you are
- 2-5 years work experience;
- You have a fluent level of Portuguese and English, both written and spoken
- Work experience in a high-volume payouts in accounts payable, treasury operations, acquirers or banking operations role is a plus;
- Availability to work 3 days in person on Morumbi/SP
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate detailed requirements into business solutions;
- Knowledge about payments ecosystem (Nuclea-SLC, STR, Register Entities) in Brazil is a plus;
- Experience with process improvement, optimisation and/or automation is a plus;
- Strong proficiency in Excel, as well as experience with data analysis and monitoring tools such as Looker and Grafana are a plus;
- Ability to interface and cooperate seamlessly with a global team;
- Exceptional attention to detail, a strong sense of ownership and quick to pick-up the phone to involve multiple teams;
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet strict daily deadlines.
