- The Business Development Operations Manager will play a critical role in driving efficiency, standardization, and performance across the Business Development team. This individual will oversee a team of operational specialists, ensure the successful intake and implementation of projects, and foster a culture of continuous improvement through Lean principles. The ideal candidate is a process-driven leader with a proven track record of monitoring KPIs, streamlining workflows, and enabling teams to deliver results consistently.

- Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Oversight
- Manage, mentor, and develop operational specialists to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
- KPI Management & Reporting
- Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators for the Business Development team.
- Implement operational strategies with the Business Development specialists when KPIs are not being met.
- Provide actionable insights to leadership to drive data-informed decisions.
- Develop reporting dashboards and standardized performance tracking tools.
- Project Intake & Implementation
- Oversee the intake process for new projects, ensuring proper scoping, prioritization, and resource allocation.
- Lead cross-functional coordination to implement projects on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives.
- Serve as a point of escalation to resolve roadblocks and ensure smooth execution.
- Process Improvement & Standardization
- Lead Lean process improvement initiatives to eliminate inefficiencies and enhance productivity.
- Build, document, and implement standardized workflows, tools, and best practices across the team.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational consistency.
- Strategic Support
- Partner with senior leadership to align operations with long-term business development goals.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and scalability in operations.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in operations, business development, or project management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong background in KPI tracking, performance management, and reporting.
- Experience leading Lean or Six Sigma process improvement initiatives.
- Proven success in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and people development skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in project management and data analysis tools (e.g., ASANA, Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
