Job Description Agilent is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer (FSE) to join our team in Grand Brazil North District, to support our customers in chromatography instruments, including HPLC, GC, LC-MS, and GC-MS systems. This advanced-level role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in analytical chemistry and hands-on experience in servicing complex laboratory equipment. The FSE will be responsible for delivering exceptional on-site support to customers, ensuring optimal performance of both company and multi-vendor systems. This includes installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of hardware, software, and network components. A key differentiator for this position is solid application knowledge in LC-MS workflows and analytical data interpretation. The ideal candidate will be equipped to support customers beyond standard technical service, offering guidance in method optimization and assisting with troubleshooting of analytical results to ensure optimal system performance and data quality. Qualifications Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field. - A master’s degree in chemistry or a related field is desirable. - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in chromatography instruments (HPLC, GC, LC-MS, GC-MS). - Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and customer service abilities. - Willingness to travel and work independently in customer-facing roles. Additional Details This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
