  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join a dynamic, innovation-driven team. In this role, you will design, build, and deploy advanced machine learning and AI models that drive business insights and intelligent decision-making. You will work with large datasets, integrate models with APIs, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions. The position offers the chance to work with state-of-the-art tools and platforms, including LLMs, Databricks, and cloud-based data systems, in a fully remote and collaborative environment. You will play a key role in promoting AI adoption, improving analytical capabilities, and contributing to strategic initiatives across the organization.

Accountabilities

  • Develop, evaluate, and tune predictive models using machine learning and deep learning techniques, both supervised and unsupervised.
  • Implement and deploy models using Python and frameworks such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
  • Build APIs and services (FastAPI, Flask) to integrate models into production systems.
  • Work with Large Language Models (LLMs) by performing prompt engineering and building intelligent systems integrated with AI models like GPT.
  • Analyze data with SQL and Databricks, ensuring data quality and performance for model training and evaluation.
  • Apply statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and model validation metrics, including explainability techniques (SHAP, LIME).
  • Use version control (GIT) to maintain code quality and collaboration with other engineers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into AI solutions and actionable insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist, ideally in senior or lead roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Python and associated ML/DL libraries, as well as API development.
  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation within platforms such as Databricks.
  • Solid understanding of model validation, statistical testing, and explainable AI techniques.
  • Familiarity with version control tools like GIT.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AI and data science in cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of AI model deployment pipelines and CI/CD practices.
  • Previous involvement in cross-functional projects integrating AI into business processes.
