MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• * Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• * 5 years of experience in project managing and delivering technical solutions.

• * Experience with architecting, developing, and maintaining technical solutions
• by leveraging virtual machines, containers (e.g., Kubernetes/GKE), serverless
• computing, or software defined networking (SDN).
• * Experience working in a cloud computing environment (i.e., infrastructure,
• storage, platforms or data).

• * Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with
• clients in the region.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• * Experience with customer-facing migrations, including service discovery,
• assessment, planning, execution, and operations.

• * Experience with project managing and delivering technical solutions.
• * Experience with Kubernetes, GKE, or EKS.

• * Experience in systems design with an ability to architect or explain complex
• systems interactions including data flows, common interfaces, APIs, and
• methods available.

• * Experience reading software code in one or more languages (e.g., Java,
• JavaScript, or Python).
• * Excellent communication, written, presentation and problem solving skills.

• As an Application Modernization Cloud Consultant, you will work directly with
• Google’s customers on critical application development and modernization
• projects to help them transform their businesses. You will provide consulting,
• program management and technical expertise to customers while working with
• client executives and key technical leaders to drive adoption of modern
• applications and cloud native products on Google Cloud Platform. You will work
• with customers on application re-design and implementation, including
• application scaling, reliability, and ongoing operations such as application and
• feature rollouts, monitoring, and more. Additionally, you will work closely with
• Product Management and Product Engineering to build and facilitate excellence in
• our products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• * Be a trusted technical advisor to customers and solve cloud architecture
• software development tests. Holds technical accountability for the success of
• cloud solutions, actively shaping their overall architecture.
• * Create and execute enterprise application assessment and migration strategies
• and recommend approaches and estimated effort for application migration and
• modernization programs.
• * Work with customers to design technical architectures, migration approaches,
• and application optimizations. Serve as a technical advisor and perform
• troubleshooting to resolve technical tests for customers.
• * Translate business and application needs into clear technical requirements
• through effective communication with clients and technical teams. Manage
• project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks and issues, and timelines for
• successful client outcomes.
• * Travel up to 30% of the time.
