- Role Summary
- We are looking for a hunter-driven, growth-oriented commercial leader with an established network of customers and channel partners in the cybersecurity and secure networking ecosystem.
- This role is responsible for building new pipeline, activating and scaling partners, and driving retention and expansion of strategic accounts, with a strong focus on modern security architectures such as Networking, ZTNA, SASE, and Digital Risk.
- Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development (Hunter – Direct Sales)
- Leverage an existing network of customers, prospects, and industry relationships to accelerate pipeline creation.
- Prospect, qualify, and close new mid-market and enterprise opportunities.
- Engage senior decision-makers, including CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Network, Security, and Risk.
- Position and sell solutions across secure networking, ZTNA, SASE, and digital risk reduction.
- Own the full sales cycle from discovery through negotiation and close.
- Channel Management & Partner Ecosystem
- Utilize an established partner network (VARs, MSSPs, system integrators, distributors, cloud and networking partners).
- Recruit, onboard, and activate new strategic partners using existing relationships.
- Drive joint pipeline generation, co-selling, and partner-led deals.
- Ensure partners are enabled to clearly articulate technical differentiation and business value.
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships across the channel ecosystem.
- Customer Retention & Expansion
- Maintain strong executive relationships with existing customers.
- Identify expansion opportunities leveraging trusted advisor status.
- Drive renewals, upsell, and cross-sell across networking security, access, and digital risk use cases.
- Coordinate with Customer Success and Technical teams to maximize adoption and minimize churn.
- Market, Technology & Relationship Strategy
- Actively expand and nurture a personal and company-level network across customers, partners, and influencers.
- Provide market intelligence based on direct conversations and ecosystem feedback.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product to refine ICPs, messaging, and partner strategies.
- Represent the company in industry events, partner briefings, and executive forums.
- Success Metrics (KPIs)
- Revenue sourced from existing relationships and network-driven deals.
- Pipeline generated through direct and partner channels.
- Number of active, productive channel partners.
- Win rate and deal velocity.
- Customer retention, expansion, and Net Revenue Retention (NRR).
- Ideal Profile
- Well-connected within the cybersecurity and networking ecosystem.
- Trusted by customers and partners as a strategic advisor, not a transactional seller.
- Comfortable opening doors and creating opportunities from relationships.
- Motivated by building long-term value and scalable revenue.
- Passionate about Zero Trust, SASE, and digital risk reduction.
- Experience & Skills
- Experience
- 5+ years in B2B cybersecurity and/or secure networking sales.
- Proven hunter background with measurable new-logo success.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage an existing network of customers and channel partners.
- Hands-on experience with Networking, ZTNA, SASE, Zero Trust, or Digital Risk solutions.
- Experience working with VARs, MSSPs, integrators, and technology partners.
- Skills
- Strong relationship-building and ecosystem management skills.
- Ability to translate technical security concepts into business and risk outcomes.
- Executive-level communication and negotiation.
- Disciplined pipeline and account management.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
