We’re seeking an analyst to research new data center developments, focus on updating our database with accurate facility information, and ensure data consistency. We are seeking a candidate for a long-term, full-time position. Overview ======== We are seeking a detail-oriented **Data Researcher & Analyst** to support and expand our coverage of the data center industry. You will play a key role in identifying and tracking new data center facilities worldwide, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our database, and addressing customer data requests. This position has the potential to transition into a long-term, full-time role for the right candidate. Responsibilities ============= **Research & Data Collection**: Investigate new data center developments using a variety of sources (news outlets, public filings, mapping tools, etc.). **Data Verification**: Identify and correct inconsistencies within the existing dataset and collaborate with service providers to ensure data accuracy. **Database Maintenance**: Add newly discovered facilities to our database, updating relevant information and details. **Customer Support**: Manage customer data request support tickets and provide timely, accurate information. Qualifications =========== **Analytical Skills**: Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot data trends and discrepancies. **Investigative Mindset**: Excellent lateral thinking and problem-solving abilities; adept at independent research. **Technical Familiarity**: Comfortable using Google Maps/Earth; familiarity with data center, cloud, or networking technologies (or ability to learn quickly). **Communication**: Good written and verbal communication skills to interface effectively with service providers and internal teams.
