  • We are seeking a passionate Data Scientist with an interest in
  • e.commerce/aviation to join our Air Transportation team. In this role, you will
  • be responsible for transforming large volumes of operational data into
  • actionable insights that will optimize our air transport network, improve route
  • efficiency, and enhance customer experience. This position is located in Vila
  • Olímpia, São Paulo – SP and requires full-time in-office presence (no remote
  • work option).
  • Key job responsibilities
  • • Analyze air cargo traffic patterns to optimize the network
  • • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven improvements
  • • Develop automated dashboards and reports for stakeholders
  • • Use mathematical models and heuristics to solve Air network planning problems
  • • Work on awareness and education to increase adoption of current internal GenAI
  • tools (Amazon Q, Cedric, PartyRock, AgentZ)
  • • Develop personas/agents/apps/tools using Bedrock and other AI and automation

  • A day in the life
  • • Start the day by reviewing operational KPIs and analyzing anomalies
  • • Meet with operations teams to understand needs and challenges
  • • Develop and refine analytical models
  • • Run network optimization models and interpret its results
  • • Engage with and support the Air teams by identifying manual processes and
  • automate them to streamline operations through AI
  • • Present insights and recommendations to leadership
  • Basic Qualifications: - • Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer
  • science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
  • - • Experience in scripting automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills
  • - • Experience with building ETL pipelines and cleaning large (multi-TB) data
  • sets
  • - • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar
  • tools
  • - • Knowledge of applied optimization methods, specially mixed-integer
  • programming and network flows
  • - • Knowledge of GenAI integration into daily processes using
  • personas/agents/apps/tools Preferred Qualifications: - • Prior experience in the
  • logistics/aviation industry

  • - • Experience with AWS or similar solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and
  • Redshift
