• The role you'll play
• You’ll be at the heart of transforming customer data into seamless experiences. As a Data Service Specialist, you’ll help new and existing Mindbody customers move confidently onto our platform through smart, secure, and efficient data conversion and reporting. You’ll juggle multiple projects, connect cross-functionally, and keep data flowing, all while helping customers unlock value from day one.
• Lead multiple data conversion and reporting projects at once, managing timelines and customer expectations with clarity and confidence
• Analyze, map, and convert data across systems to help clients transition smoothly and securely
• Collaborate with customers to solve data challenges creatively and efficiently
• Contribute to complex conversion efforts, including custom migrations and autopay transitions, with guidance from senior specialists
• Ensure every data touchpoint follows strict security protocols and encryption best practices
• Translate complex technical information into clear, approachable updates for clients
• Share knowledge across the team to continuously raise our bar for quality and process improvement
• Leverage internal tools and create documentation that helps others do the same
• Experience you bring
• 1–4 years of hands-on data conversion experience, ideally with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Experience working directly with customers or clients, you're skilled at translating needs into action
• Confident with Microsoft Excel, Access, and SQL; bonus if you’ve worked with scripting tools like PowerShell or Python
• Detail-oriented mindset, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Comfortable navigating browser settings and internet-based tools for client support
• A natural curiosity for learning new systems, tools, and workflows
• Calm under pressure, with a bias for solutions over stress
• Collaborative, adaptable, and energized by teamwork and shared success
