• We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead Databricks-based data engineering and analytics projects. In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, work closely with data scientists and engineers, and ensure successful delivery of data-driven solutions aligned with business objectives. You will manage ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize workflows, and support cloud integration while driving operational efficiency. This is a fully remote position in a dynamic environment where your work directly contributes to transforming raw data into actionable insights and measurable business impact.
• Accountabilities
• · Manage and oversee Databricks projects, including the design, deployment, and optimization of ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache Spark.
• · Coordinate cross-functional teams of data engineers, scientists, and stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• · Optimize performance of notebooks and workflows to improve efficiency and reliability.
• · Implement data quality, validation, and monitoring processes.
• · Support ML model deployment and integration within Databricks environments.
• · Ensure effective integration of Databricks with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• · Maintain clear project documentation and track progress against milestones.
• · 4+ years of hands-on experience managing Databricks-based data engineering and analytics projects.
• · Proven expertise in building, optimizing, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache Spark.
• · Strong skills in Python, Scala, and SQL for data processing and workflow management.
• · Experience with cloud integration and platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and tools like Delta Lake, MLflow, and Databricks Notebooks.
• · Ability to transform raw data into analytical structures and models ready for ML deployment.
• · Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• · Conversational English at B2 level or higher is a plus.
• · Located in Latin America and able to work in a fully remote environment.
