Founded on August 31, 1957, by Maurício Sirotsky Sobrinho, the RBS Group is one of the most important communications group in Brazil and the largest affiliate of Rede Globo. Through its radio stations, tv channels, newspapers, websites and digital media initiatives, RBS Group create and distribute journalistic, entertainment and service content. In traditional media, it is a market leader in Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina state in all segments in which it operates. From São Paulo, it operates digital businesses (e.Bricks). With more than 6,000 employees, it is the second largest employer of journalists in Brazil.
