- In this role, you will architect, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure while ensuring reliability, scalability, and security across production systems. You will drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and cloud migrations, collaborating closely with development teams to streamline deployment and operational processes. Your expertise will support high-volume, mission-critical applications and ensure compliance with industry security standards. The role offers a fully remote environment, exposure to advanced cloud technologies, and the opportunity to implement best practices in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering across complex, global platforms.
- Accountabilities
- Design, implement, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions.
- Support, monitor, and enhance live platform operations to ensure high availability and performance.
- Lead infrastructure migrations to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), optimizing use of cloud-native services.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) workflows.
- Implement and maintain security compliance according to standards such as SOC-2 and ISO 27001.
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure outages and incidents, performing root cause analysis.
- Document systems, processes, and configurations to support troubleshooting, scalability, and onboarding.
- Promote DevOps and SRE best practices throughout the organization, including participation in a rotational on-call schedule.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or systems engineering supporting production-critical applications.
- Strong Linux administration skills, including firewalls and hardening.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, GKE).
- Proficiency with IaC tools, particularly Terraform; familiarity with Ansible and automation workflows.
- Cloud experience in AWS and GCP, including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, IAM, and Cloud Operations.
- CI/CD expertise using Jenkins, Harness, Bitbucket, Git, jFrog, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of programming and scripting languages (Python, Shell, PowerShell, JavaScript, Node.js, PHP).
- Experience with web servers (Apache, Nginx) and database management (MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB).
- Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, CloudWatch, StackDriver, Splunk).
- Familiarity with Agile and ITSM processes.
- Preferred: AWS/GCP certifications, Jenkins/Harness certifications, Kubernetes certifications.
