As a Discipline Lead Mechanical Engineering (Services) , you will lead and coach a team, responsible for the execution of engineering for services , mainly but not limited to Huisman products, in accordance with project requirements and Huisman standards.

As a Discipline Lead Mechanical Engineering (Services) you will be responsible for:

• Leading and coaching team members of the engineering team.
• Alignment of work with global Mechanical Engineering team leads for Services.
• Provide technical advice to internal and external clients.
• Create and update engineering deliverables, e.g. designs, drawings and technical specifications for services.
• Supporting the execution of service projects, i.e. production, commissioning and testing and field engineering.
• Constantly monitor, manage and report on scope, quality, budget and lead time of the service project.
• Provide input for continuous improvement of Huisman products, services and processes.

You are/have:

• Autonomy: engineering jobs at services tend to be short of nature and are resolved by independent engineers. You will work in a team, but rarely on the same job.

• Time management: ability to plan and control lead times of engineering deliverables of the team.

Some practical things we need you to have:

• Advanced English (will be tested during the selection process).
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of CAD software, preferably AutoCAD and Inventor.
