Employment Hours: Full-time (40+ hour weeks) Role type: Contract Remote status: Fully remote Interviews: 2 stages, totalling around 2 hours Reporting to: Head of Marketing Start date: November 2025 🎨 The Creative Strategist will work within team Pods and have an senior level understanding of paid social performance creative, their client’s brand, performance goals, data analysis, industry trends, and consumer behaviour. Not only will the creative strategist ideate and construct individual ads for clients, but also focus on setting the clients' overarching creative strategy to increase their brand growth. The Creative Strategist role is very client-facing; you'll be the client's go-to for all creative questions, responsible for copy/script writing, creative briefing, research, and follow-through on the execution and review of ads from the beginning inception of a creative idea the iteration based on test results. The Work • Lead the creative direction and strategy for clients you're responsible for. • Client go-to for creative questions, status updates, feedback requests, and all things strategy and scope • Make strategic creative decisions for the next ad deliveries based on live data and performance learnings • Reviews and provides clear and actionable feedback to editors, graphic designers and content creators • Analyze, develop and dictate creative hypotheses and tests to move the needle on KPIs. • Examining market, industry, and platform reports to identify important trends and trend shifts and implementing best performance creative strategy across platforms • Analyze creative performance using data from platforms like FB ads manager and set up creative tests • Own creative kickoff and creative brainstorming meetings • Lead client-facing discussions gauging clients' opinions on an angle, issue or product and goals for upcoming campaigns • Ensure that there is a regular flow of new creatives for client ad accounts • Ensure the rate/pace at which we are testing creatives is right for the client and has been agreed upon with the client. • Know the client brand guides like the back of your hand • Own final say on the quality of concepts presented • Perform market research regarding customer demographics • Delegate creative requests to designers and video editors • Source & negotiate terms with creators for brand creative • Continue to expand upon creative knowledge
