Learning platforms are reliable, devices are ready, data is accurate, events unfold without disruption, and educators and leaders can focus on what matters most. Decisions are informed rather than reactive, risks are anticipated rather than discovered late, and systems scale without fragmentation.This role succeeds not through visibility or novelty, but through consistency, judgment, and disciplined execution. It ensures that Escola Concept São Paulo operates as a digitally fluent school, where technology quietly enables learning, community, and growth, today and as the institution evolves.Responsabilidades e atribuiçõesCORE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEDTECH VISION & ADVISORYDevelops and maintains a clear campus-level vision for educational technology aligned with the school’s mission.Serves as the primary advisor to the Head of School on EdTech, IT coordination, and data systems.Consults on school initiatives to assess feasibility, risks, and system readiness from a technology perspective.Builds and sustains a unified EdTech approach across divisions and departments.DIGITAL FLUENCY & TOOL ECOSYSTEM GOVERNANCEDesigns and maintains a digital fluency framework by grade band.Curates, governs, and documents the approved ecosystem of educational tools, with Toddle as the core platform.Establishes criteria for adoption, pilots, renewals, and decommissioning of tools.Actively audits and removes redundant or low-impact software.Ensures compliance with data privacy (LGPD), security, accessibility, and age-appropriateness standards.IT COORDINATION & INFRASTRUCTURE OVERSIGHTCoordinates campus-level IT operations in partnership with corporate IT and external vendors.Oversees the daily work of two IT Technicians, setting priorities, workflows, and service expectations.Ensures network reliability, device availability, and system uptime through coordination and vendor management.Acts as the campus escalation point for complex technical issues.DATA SYSTEMS & ACCESS MANAGEMENTActs as campus owner for data systems workflows, ensuring the SIS functions as the system of record.Oversees rostering and data flow into Toddle and Apple School Manager to ensure readiness at the start of each semester.Coordinates identity and access management (Google Workspace / SSO) for staff, students, and families.Ensures appropriate data governance, access control, archiving, and backup practices in coordination with corporate IT.DEVICE ECOSYSTEM OWNERSHIP (IPAD PROGRAM)Owns the lifecycle management of the 1:1 iPad program and staff devices.Defines device readiness standards and expectations.Oversees MDM strategy in coordination with IT Technicians and corporate IT.Ensures devices are consistently learning-ready for teaching, learning, and events.EVENT & HIGH-VISIBILITY TECHNOLOGY EXECUTIONCoordinates technology support for major school events, including parent meetings, exhibitions, and graduations.Oversees audiovisual setup, connectivity, presentation tools, and testing protocols.Develops run-of-show checklists and contingency plans.Ensures smooth execution without last-minute technical intervention.AI TOOLS EXECUTION (SUPPORT ROLE)Works closely with the Head of Design to implement and operationalize approved AI tools and platforms.Ensures AI-enabled systems integrate with existing platforms, devices, and identity systems.Supports access provisioning, device readiness, and system stability for AI tools.Ensures compliance with data privacy and security standards for AI-related platforms.BUDGET, VENDOR & RESOURCE COORDINATIONManages the campus EdTech and IT operational budget within agreed limits.Coordinates purchasing of devices, licenses, and services.Acts as campus liaison with vendors and suppliers.Ensures purchasing decisions align with approved ecosystems and sustainability goals.Escalates major budget or contract decisions to the Head of School and corporate teams.TEAM LEADERSHIP & SERVICE CULTUREDirectly supervises and mentors IT Technicians.Establishes a proactive, service-oriented user support culture.Defines response and resolution expectations.Ensures clear escalation paths and documentation.Requisitos e qualificaçõesSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND COMPETENCIESENTERPRISE INFRASTRUCTURE LITERACY (THE "HARD" SKILLS)Network Protocols: Conversant in core networking concepts, including VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP. You must be able to audit vendor performance regarding switching and routing.Security Architecture: Understanding of Firewall administration, content filtering, and intrusion detection systems.Telecommunications: Familiarity with VOIP phone system administration and structured cabling standards.Identity Management: Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace (G-Suite) administration, SSO configurations, and Active Directory environments.EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY & SYSTEMSLearning Platforms: Deep mastery of Toddle and its role as the central learning hub.Age Appropriate Apps: Extensive repertoire for learning apps and organization of learning.Experience with K–12 EdTech ecosystems and LMS–SIS integration.Apple Ecosystem: Expert-level knowledge of Apple School Manager, MDM solutions (Mosyle/Jamf), and Apple Configurator workflows for 1:1 environments.Data Interoperability: Ability to architect data flows between the SIS (Student Information System) and third-party apps or API integrations.STRATEGIC MANAGEMENTVendor Governance: Proven ability to manage SLAs (Service Level Agreements) with ISPs and MSPs (Managed Service Providers).Financial Acumen: Experience managing CapEx (Capital Expenditure) for infrastructure renewal and OpEx (Operational Expenditure) for software licensing.DATA & GOVERNANCEUnderstanding of data integrity, privacy, and access control.Experience managing rostering and system readiness workflows.QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEMaster’s Degree in Educational Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration (highly preferred).5-7 years of experience in technology management within an educational institution, with at least 2 years in a leadership or coordination role.Bilingual Fluency: Native or near-native proficiency in both Portuguese and English. As the school is located in São Paulo, the ability to negotiate complex contracts with local Brazilian vendors while reporting to international leadership is essential.STRATEGIC KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIESBrazilian Digital Compliance (LGPD): Expert-level understanding of the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais (LGPD). Proven ability to translate Brazilian legal requirements into school data policies, consent forms, and data retention workflows.Cybersecurity Leadership: Demonstrated experience implementing security frameworks (such as NIST or ISO 27001) adapted for an educational environment. Knowledge of threat landscapes specific to Brazil.ISTE Curriculum Mastery: Deep knowledge of the ISTE Standards (Students, Educators, Leaders). Ability to design and implement a digital fluency curriculum aligned with these international benchmarks.Emerging Technologies: Proven ability to scan the horizon for "Next Practice" technologies.
