MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• * 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• * 5 years of experience in EHS management systems or managing EHS compliance
• with environmental programs (e.g., emissions, wastewater, etc.).
• * Ability to communicate in Portuguese, Spanish and English fluently to support
• stakeholder and client relationship management in this region.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• * Master's degree or PhD in Occupational Safety, or a related field.
• * 7 years of experience in EHS program management, project management, or a
• related field.
• * Experience working in data centers.
• * Knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices.
• * Ability to travel as needed to our data centers across South America.
• * Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex,
• cross-functional projects.

ABOUT THE JOB

• street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex,
• multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to
• plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate
• clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will
• often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the
• players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

• As part of the Compliance, Safety and Risk Management (CSRM) team, you will play
• a pivotal role in supporting the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Program
• for our Data Centers in South America. This includes but is not limited to: EHS
• management system, environmental, health and safety compliance programs, and
• sites oversight. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within
• Google Data Center departments and contractors to identify and address EHS
• concerns, risk identification and mitigation.

• You will help and ensure the safety of the operations workforce, protection of
• the environment and Google’s business. Furthermore, you will provide guidance
• with the implementation of new and critical EHS initiatives. Your efforts will
• contribute to the continuous improvement and iteration of our EHS programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• * Identify, organize, and lead program activities and stakeholders to deliver
• successful business, operational, and technical improvements within the EHS
• domain.
• * Scope, phase, and lead ambiguous cross-functional and cross-organizational
• challenges, including delivering downstream change management, alongside your
• stakeholder team.
• * Develop and implement strategic plans for program initiatives, ensuring
• alignment with Google's overall EHS direction and goals.
• * Monitor and track program performance, identifying areas for improvement and
• implementing corrective action plans.
• * Manage program budget and resources effectively.
