We are seeking a skilled professional to create and manage email marketing and transactional emails using SendGrid. The ideal candidate will have experience in automating emails and ensuring high deliverability rates. 1) SendGrid setup and integration Configure/validate SendGrid integration with the Next.js project (API Key, environment variables, etc.). Adjust sending authentication (SPF, DKIM) if needed to improve deliverability. Set up templates in SendGrid (Dynamic Templates) or recommend a better approach. 2) Email marketing automation Build the structure for sending email marketing campaigns (e.g. newsletter, promotions, announcements). Implement an endpoint or function to trigger campaigns via backend/panel. Ensure unsubscribe/opt-out handling and basic compliance with email marketing best practices. 3) Password reset flow Implement the full forgot password flow: Secure token generation with expiration. Email with personalized reset link. Integration with the Next.js frontend (reset password page). 4) Invoice and transactional emails Implement automatic sending of transactional emails, such as: Invoice emails (as attachment or link, depending on our structure). Welcome / account confirmation emails. Order/service confirmation, where applicable. Create standardized, responsive, professional-looking templates. 5) Other email automations Prepare a base structure for: System notification emails (alerts, important notices). Reminder emails (payment, renewal, etc.). Document how to add new flows in the future. Proven experience with Next.js and Node.js. Hands-on experience with SendGrid (API v3, templates, lists, etc.). Experience with transactional emails (password reset, confirmation, etc.). Understanding of email deliverability best practices (SPF, DKIM, sending domains). Git / code versioning.
