- We are a lean, high-velocity technical team building the infrastructure that powers the world’s most sophisticated AI models. Our core mission is to democratize access to high-quality public web data at a global scale. We support and power Grass, a massive distributed bandwidth-sharing network and crawler, while simultaneously managing pipelines that process billions of videos, transcripts, and audio files for frontier AI labs.

This isn't just a firmware role; it’s a hybrid challenge where low-level systems meet high-scale backend architecture. You will lead the effort to architect scalable solutions, optimize networked device firmware, and drive technical excellence to ensure our distributed network remains the backbone of the open web data movement.

- Systems Expertise: Proven experience building and scaling large distributed systems.
- Technical Deep-Dive: Direct experience in low-level programming, embedded systems, or firmware development specifically for networked devices.
- Operational Excellence: In-depth familiarity with modern SDLC practices, including CI/CD, and a proven ability to debug and resolve issues within intricate, live software environments.

- Architectural Vision: Create and review technical designs and documentation to ensure our infrastructure can handle billions of data points.
- Collaborate: Work closely with a technical leadership team to expand our global knowledge graph and distributed crawler capabilities.
- At the Frontier: Work at the intersection of AI and decentralized infrastructure, building a platform that redistributes the value of AI to everyday people.
- High-Output Culture: Join a low-ego, high-talent team where your work has an immediate and massive impact.
