We are seeking an experienced embedded vision engineer to optimize IR and RGB camera image quality for a facial recognition device. The device runs on a NXP microcontroller (i.MX RT1176) and uses the Oasis Lite algorithm. The focus is on improving image quality under various lighting conditions, including indoors at night and outdoors with high ambient light, and addressing issues like IR light saturation and glare. Note: This is not a full facial recognition system development. We already have the engine working. We need a specialist in camera tuning and image preprocessing to improve performance across different environments.
