Job Description: The ECb Governance and Finance Senior Lead is accountable for the end‑to‑end governance, financial stewardship and cross-vendor performance governance of Enterprise Collaboration (ECb) services—spanning Email/Exchange, Unified Communications (Teams Voice/Video/Channels), SharePoint, File & Print, Desktop & Mobility, and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This role integrates closely with EDS – Enterprise Delivery & Service - Teams as well as OPEX – Operational Excellence and Service&Finance teams, outside of EDS, to maximize business value, drive operational excellence and deliver reliable, cost‑efficient collaboration services aligned to business outcomes (XLAs/NPS) and financial health. The role leads cross‑functional squads and vendor partners, ensuring services are reliable, secure, cost‑effective, and delivered on time and in full. It combines strategic governance, tactical execution, and operational rigor, with strong assertive communication, executive storytelling, and stakeholder management. The role own the numbers, own the narrative, and set the guardrails—ensuring Mars gets the best value from Microsoft and other SaaS providers while maintaining clear, assertive standards for service performance and investment decisions. About the Team: Enterprise Collaboration (ECb) powers Mars’ global collaboration stack: - Email & Messaging: Exchange / Outlook - Unified Communications (UC): Microsoft Teams (chat, channels, voice, video) - Collaboration: SharePoint, OneDrive - Desktop & Mobility: HW/SW standards, device management, OS deployment, app packaging & deployment - M365/O365 Suite and broader Microsoft portfolio, including the accountability over Microsoft Enterprise Agreement plus additional vendors enabling global digital productivity What are we looking for? Enterprise‑scale financial governance (YEE/YTD/YTG) across parent + affiliates, with forecast variance control (≈≤1–2%), chargeback transparency, and proven savings/avoidance. Hands‑on Microsoft EA & licensing leadership (renewals, true‑up/down, E1/E3/E5/F3 and add‑ons optimization, compliance) with clear TCO outcomes. Vendor governance for Microsoft, SaaS, and service integrators (e.g., TCS, Accenture) using SPRM, scorecards/QBRs, and corrective plans to closure. Strong data & analytics capability (Power BI/advanced Excel) and assertive executive communication; governs via SLAs/OLAs/XLAs without operating run services. Certifications: ITIL®, COBIT®, TOGAF®, SAM, FinOps, PMP/PRINCE2; MBA or equivalent. Experience establishing a Value Realization Office or investment‑to‑outcomes governance. Depth with ServiceNow reporting, M365 telemetry, and license analytics; track record in SaaS portfolio rationalization. Experience with tenant governance and guiding security/collaboration roadmap choices (e.g., Copilot/AI). What will be your key responsibilities? Own ECb financial health: Manage YEE/YTD/YTG, consolidate actuals across Mars Inc & affiliates, ensure chargeback transparency, deliver savings/avoidance, and keep forecasts on target. Lead Microsoft EA governance: Define negotiation thesis, run renewals/true‑ups/downs, optimize license mix & compliance, and guide roadmap choices with business cases and value metrics. Govern vendors (Microsoft + SaaS + services): Operate SPRM with scorecards/QBRs, enforce action plans and service credits, and rationalize the SaaS portfolio and license governance. Consolidate service oversight: Aggregate regional inputs into a single health/risk view, challenge KPIs/OLAs/SLAs and evolve toward XLAs, set guardrails, and drive post‑incident governance. Lead Data & Analytics → VRO: Standardize metrics and definitions, deliver exec dashboards (adoption, experience, TCO, vendor scorecards), ensure a single source of truth, and link investments to outcomes.
