  • About the Role
  • As a Senior Data Scientist within the Farmers Business Insurance analytics team, you will play a key role in shaping data-driven strategies by developing predictive models and scalable frameworks. This position offers the opportunity to work with modern cloud platforms and contribute to impactful business decisions through advanced analytics and machine learning.]
  • What You'll Do
  • Design, build, and maintain predictive models to support various business use cases.
  • Develop and enhance internal data science frameworks and reusable model code.
  • Deploy models into production environments and monitor performance over time.
  • Conduct deep-dive data analysis to uncover insights and support decision-making.
  • Create dashboards and visualizations to effectively communicate results to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics solutions with business needs.
  • Education & Experience
  • Master’s degree in a scientific or quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Data Science, Actuarial Science, Economics).
  • Minimum of 4 years (preferred 7+) in Data Science or advanced analytics roles.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Technical Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Databricks).
  • Strong expertise in machine learning and data analysis.
  • Proven experience deploying models to production environments.
  • Software Proficiency
  • Python: Intermediate/advanced
  • SQL: Advanced
  • Cloud Platforms (AWS/GCP/Databricks)
  • Power BI or similar visualization tools
