I’m looking for a mid-level Framer web designer who can create clean, professional, responsive websites with great layout sense and attention to detail. This is for ongoing work under my company (Endless Ideas Studio) and for a new program I’m launching to support immigrant entrepreneurs in Canada. You will start part-time, and if we're successful, there’s an opportunity to quickly grow into 20–40 hrs/week long-term, with increasing autonomy and responsibility! This role is ideal for someone who: - has a strong eye for clean, modern layouts - is comfortable building from templates and from scratch - cares about pixel-level accuracy - can take a concept and turn it into a polished, professional section/page - works well independently once initial direction is set Responsibilities: You will begin with smaller tasks and grow into larger, more independent builds: 1. Early Tasks (Phase 1) - Updating sections in Framer (hero, grid, cards, CTAs, etc.) - Fixing responsiveness issues (desktop → tablet → mobile) - Converting screenshots or examples into actual sections in Framer - Implementing my brand colors, fonts, spacing, and tone 2. Intermediate Tasks (Phase 2) - Creating multi-section pages using: - a reference website OR - a screenshot OR - written instructions - Improving layout, spacing, hierarchy, and UX - Creating pages that “feel official” (government-adjacent style) - Light asset selection (stock images/icons when needed) 3. Advanced Tasks (Phase 3 — once trust is built) - Building entire websites from: - a written brief - a theme - or a set of goals - Designing reusable components/patterns - Creating templates for CIEC client sites - Advising on layout and structure - Using minimal instructions and taking initiative Requirements: - Strong Framer experience (please include examples) - A strong sense of spacing, balance, layout, and typography - Ability to build responsive designs without instructions - Good English communication - Ability to work independently and consistently - Honesty about your availability - Reliable internet + hardware Bonus (not required): - Canva experience - Light visual design sense - Ability to pick suitable hero images or icons - Ability to build custom Framer components Tools you'll use: - Framer (main) - Canva (simple assets) - Loom (for recording process during the test) - Google Drive If you don’t know Loom, it’s free and takes 2 minutes to set up. Compensation $6–$18 USD/hour, depending on: - skill level - independence - design & troubleshooting skills - portfolio strength Plan is to start on lower end for first 1-2 projects and if satisfied, happy to increase for ongoing work and continue to increase as our success grows!
