- We’re looking for a Gameplay Motion Designer (Unity) who can bring motion, polish, and technical clarity to a football-focused mobile gaming experience. This role sits at the intersection of animation, real-time motion design, and game implementation, ideal for someone who understands both visual storytelling and Unity’s technical constraints.
- You’ll own motion systems inside the game, collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and product teams to ensure animations feel responsive, expressive, and production-ready. This is a hands-on role with real ownership over how gameplay, UI, and transitions come to life.

- What You’ll Work On
- Real-Time Motion Design in Unity
- Design and implement animations, transitions, and motion systems inside Unity
- Create motion for gameplay moments, UI interactions, menus, and state changes
- Ensure motion feels responsive, readable, and aligned with gameplay pacing
- Optimize animations for performance across mobile devices
- Technical Art and Implementation
- Work directly in Unity to integrate animations using Animator, timelines, and state machines
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure motion systems are scalable and maintainable
- Troubleshoot animation, performance, or integration issues across devices
- Build reusable animation systems and templates for consistent execution
- Collaboration and Visual Direction
- Partner with product designers, engineers, and game designers to align motion with intent
- Translate visual direction into technically sound motion implementations
- Provide feedback on animation quality, consistency, and player experience
- Help evolve animation standards, guidelines, and workflows
- Polish and Player Experience
- Refine motion timing, easing, and transitions to improve clarity and feel
- Ensure animations support usability and do not distract from gameplay
- Contribute to final polish passes ahead of releases and updates
- Help test and iterate based on player feedback and performance data
- What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in motion design, technical art, or animation for games
- Strong hands-on experience working inside Unity
- Deep understanding of animation principles, timing, and visual hierarchy
- Experience implementing motion through Animator Controllers, timelines, or similar systems
- Ability to balance creative intent with technical constraints and performance needs
- Clear communication and comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Nice to Have
- Experience working on mobile games or live-service products
- Familiarity with UI animation for games
- Background in sports, competitive, or collectible-based games
- Experience creating tools or workflows that improve animation scalability
- Knowledge of shaders, VFX, or real-time rendering pipelines
