  • Global Payroll Specialist
  • Ebury Bank - São Paulo Office - 4 days in the office and 1 day of home office per week
  • We are looking to broaden our Global Payroll team with a new team member to cover our Ebury LATAM offices in; São Paulo, Mexico and Chile.

About the role

  • End to end processing of bi-monthly and monthly payrolls as part of a small team.
  • Analysis and documentation of each countries control framework and payroll processing guidance.
  • Ad hoc project support.
  • Manage relationships with various stakeholders (i.e., Finance, HR, etc.) and the payroll provider to ensure end-to-end process excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies
  • Performing reconciliations and audit tasks for monthly payrolls.
  • Stay up to date with local payroll regulations.
  • Support Finance teams with month-end close and reporting activities.
  • Regularly review payroll processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and reliability.
  • Attend to all escalated and critical payroll related issues on a timely basis.

Candidate profile

  • At least 3 years’ experience of processing payroll across multiple countries.
  • Experience of working with a global payroll provider/system
  • Experience in working with manual processes undergoing automation transformation
  • Process documentation and control framework building/writing
  • Ability to take ownership of payroll processes;
  • Problem solving mindset & positive attitude;
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent language communications skills in English and Portuguese
  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup and other formulas)
