Job Overview

  • We’re helping our client, a fast-growing digital brand delivering high-impact content and experiences for sports fans, find an Expert Google Media Buyer with deep experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) particularly food and beverage.
  • In this role, you will take ownership of planning, executing, and optimizing Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, YouTube, and Shopping. You will translate business goals into data-backed media strategies designed to maximize ROAS and deliver measurable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, launch, and manage full-funnel Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, YouTube, Shopping) for CPG food & beverage products.
  • Conduct audience research, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking to identify scalable opportunities.
  • Implement advanced bidding strategies, targeting, and segmentation to improve ROAS and hit KPI targets.
  • Continuously optimize campaigns using data-driven insights, creative testing, and attribution models.
  • Collaborate with creative, analytics, and marketing teams to align messaging, landing pages, and conversion paths.
  • Monitor campaign performance and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Stay updated on Google Ads changes, CPG trends, and paid media best practices.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns for CPG brands, preferably in food and beverage.
  • Proven track record of driving ROI/ROAS through paid search, display, YouTube, and shopping campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing metrics, attribution models, and performance analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with A/B testing, audience segmentation, and campaign optimization strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally.

Nice-to-Have

  • Google Ads certification and/or related industry certifications.
  • Experience with e-commerce or direct-to-consumer marketing.
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Magento, or similar e-commerce platforms.
