  • We're looking for a talented and passionate Graphics Engineer focused on mobile computer graphics stack to join Wildlife's Graphics Engineering team.
  • Graphics engineers participate directly in game development, being involved in the design and implementation of specific graphics features that support Art Director’s vision. Also, we maintain and optimize the graphics stack so as to guarantee good performance and usability for technical artists and game developers. When not assigned to a particular game, we work in challenging research & development initiatives to explore state-of-the-art computer graphics techniques and tools, and adapt them to use in mobile platforms.

  • What you'll do
  • Be part of a cross-product team, directly contributing to feature development and guidance;
  • Design, maintain, and optimize games’ rendering pipelines;
  • Develop tools and solutions to improve artists and game engineers productivity;
  • Proactively look for issues in current products and propose improvements;
  • Estimate tasks considering their trade-offs and dependencies;
  • Partner with colleagues to build, maintain and train best practice optimization guidelines;
  • Own initiatives to improve processes, performance metrics, and tooling;
  • Spend up to 15% of the time researching and developing new techniques for improving art technical performance and productivity;
  • Train and support artists and programmers who use our systems and tools;
  • Share the produced knowledge to the entire company through documentation, mentoring, and practical workshops;
  • What you'll need
  • Solid knowledge in algorithms complexity analysis, hardware architecture, performance profiling and optimization;
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and C / C++;
  • Familiarity with any Graphics API;
  • Knowledge of shading languages such as C for Graphics (CG), GLSL and HLSL;
  • Strong math background (calculus, analytical geometry, numerical calculation);
  • Undergraduate’s degree grade knowledge in computer science, physics and/or mathematics (or equivalent professional experience);
  • Familiarity with agile development processes, code reviews etc.;
  • Good in structuring and organizing content, but also in documenting everything and making it very accessible for everyone;
  • Excellent communication skills regarding art and engineering audiences;
  • Professional oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Nice to have
  • Experience with Unity or Unreal game engines;
  • Experience programming real-time rendering pipelines, specially in Unity;
  • Professional experience developing mobile games (iOS and Android);
  • Professional experience working with modern APIs (DX12, Vulkan, Metal);
  • Familiarity with agile development processes;
  • Master of Science or Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science/Graphics;
  • Scientific publication in the area of Computer Graphics or Research & Development previous experience;
