About the Role: Head of Marketing & Supply Finance The Head of Marketing & Supply Finance is pivotal in leading our financial strategy to support robust business performance across our portfolio and supply chain operations. This role ensures that our financial goals align with our brand strategies and supply chain objectives, driving decision-making efficiency to fuel profitable growth. Key Responsibilities: Financial Strategy and Planning Develop and implement financial strategies for category management and supply chain operations. Lead annual budgeting processes, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial planning. Ensure alignment with overall business objectives and regional targets. Provide strategic insights to optimize costs, improve margins, and enhance financial performance. Business Partnering & Decision Support Collaborate with Marketing, Supply, and Procurement teams to drive financial rigor. Develop financial models supporting critical initiatives like cost efficiency programs. Work closely with commercial teams to balance cost optimization with service improvements. Performance Management & Reporting Be responsible for accurate financial reporting processes follows global standards. Supervise key indicators to identify risks/opportunities for proactive corrective actions. Evaluate supply chain initiatives ensuring value creation aligns with business goals. Operational Efficiency & Cost Optimization Drive cost efficiency programs across supply chain functions for sustainable improvements. Implement procedures enhancing operational effectiveness and cost management. Lead CAPEX investment assessments ensuring ROI-driven decision-making. Leadership Manage a team of finance professionals by providing direction, mentorship, and development opportunities. Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team. Represent finance in cross-functional projects/initiatives. Reporting & Compliance Ensure accurate reporting per Diageo’s policies/local regulations. Maintain robust internal controls over all aspects of category & supply finance. Key Requirements: Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance or related field (MBA preferred). Sophisticated English required; Spanish is a plus. Extensive experience in finance roles within FMCG or Consumer Goods sectors. Skills & Competencies: Critical Thinking: Aligning financial strategies with business objectives. Business Sense: Understanding category/supply chain dynamics from a financial perspective. Analytical Skills: Analyzing complex data for actionable insights.
