- As the HR Advisor - Talent Acquisition and Onboarding at Rosebel Gold Mines, you'll oversee the complete hiring process, including recruitment and onboarding. You will work with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and facilitate the onboarding of new hires, ensuring they acclimate effectively to the company's culture and policies.
Your key responsibilities will include
- Developing and executing Talent Acquisition strategies to attract top candidates.
- Managing candidate sourcing and pools, including building talent pipelines and engaging candidates through various channels.
- Overseeing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and managing candidate resumes.
- Screening applications, conducting interviews, and selecting candidates based on qualifications.
- Holding Recruiting Strategy Meetings with hiring managers to assess recruitment needs and recommend actions.
- Regularly updating Hiring Managers on the recruiting process and maintaining professional communication with all stakeholders.
- Providing excellent service to candidates and the hiring team throughout the recruitment process.
- Conducting training sessions for hiring managers on competency-based selection, interviewing techniques, and recruitment processes.
- Establishing a smooth onboarding system for new employees and supervising on-site programs for successful integration.
The ideal candidate will have
- A bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment and onboarding of new hires.
- Knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures in the functional area of Talent Management, typically developed and gained through related formal education and related experience or an equivalent combination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and working knowledge of an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Exceptional relationship-building and customer service skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English and speaking knowledge of Sranan Tongo.
- Willingness to work on a rotational schedule of 5 days of work (Monday to Friday) followed by 2 days break.
