Hi! My name is Jordan, and I’m an American English teacher. I’m launching an interactive English-learning platform that combines native-speaker tutors with artificial intelligence. The idea is that each student will have classes with a human tutor once a week, and that tutor will configure an AI based on the student’s needs and interests. The back-end will be fairly simple just using open AI API— essentially a front-end where the student logs in, sees their tasks, and interacts with the AI for a set amount of time per day. The AI will have instructions on what to focus on for each student every week. Essentially it saves the tutor and student time reviewing in class and holding the student accountable since they have a meeting with a real tutor every week. The AI must be conversational. I need the students speaking and listen. I currently have a semi-functioning model with custom GPTs using ChatGPT Plus. But it needs some improvements and a better interface.
