- Role Overview
- Latino Legends is actively searching for an Inventory & Merchandising Specialist on behalf of one of our U.S.-based clients, a growing real estate investment and operations firm focused on manufactured housing communities. The client owns and operates a large portfolio of physical housing assets and is building scalable systems to support growth, automation, and operational excellence.
- This is a foundational, hybrid role that owns the full lifecycle of manufactured home inventory—from intake through disposition—combining inventory merchandising, marketing execution, and tactical sales support under one accountable owner.
- The primary objective of this role is to build and maintain a clean, well-documented, and automation-ready inventory system that supports accurate reporting, consistent presentation, and cross-team alignment.
- This position operates as a peer to the Systems Manager, focusing on human-facing execution, accuracy, and outcomes, while system architecture and integrations are handled separately.
- Primary Responsibilities
- Inventory Merchandising & Asset Management (Core Function)
- Build and maintain complete inventory records for all homes, including photos, descriptions, unit details, and readiness status
- Own inventory lifecycle documentation from new home delivery through rehab, sale/RTO, removal, or demolition
- Apply buyer-level understanding of inventory turn, velocity, and pricing support
- Maintain accurate asset history supporting accounting, operations, infill, and sales teams
- Ensure inventory is consistently packaged and ready for automation across listing platforms
- Marketing Creative & Website
- Create and maintain marketing collateral such as flyers, banners, signage, and basic campaign assets
- Update website listings, photos, descriptions, and unit information for accuracy
- Ensure consistent visual presentation and messaging across all channels
- Execute creative work independently without routing through leadership
- Listings, Marketplaces & Reputation
- Manage and maintain listings across Zillow (once automated), Facebook Marketplace, and Craigslist
- Ensure listings are compliant, accurate, and optimized for speed of turn
- Monitor and manage Google Reviews with professionalism and consistency
- Sales Support (Tactical)
- Order banners, flyers, lockboxes, and other sales materials
- Send screenings and assist with administrative sales workflows
- Provide execution support that removes friction for the sales team (no lead ownership)
- Systems Collaboration (Clear Separation of Ownership)
- Collaborate with the Systems Manager to ensure inventory data is structured correctly for automation and reporting
- This role does not own system architecture, integrations, or platform configuration
- Focus remains on execution, data accuracy, and operational outcomes using established systems
- Reporting & Team Structure
- Reports directly to the Director of Sales
- Operates as an equal peer alongside the Systems Manager
- No hierarchical ranking between roles—clear ownership and shared accountability
- Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with experience managing inventory, assets, or operational data
- Understanding of inventory turn, pricing strategy, and reporting
- Creative execution skills, including basic design, print collateral, and digital content
- Experience managing listings, marketplaces, or consumer-facing platforms
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
- Experience in manufactured housing, real estate, or asset-heavy industries is a plus, but not required
- What Success Looks Like
- Inventory is clean, complete, and fully documented
- Listings are accurate, automated, and consistent across platforms
- Asset history is reliable and usable across departments
- Leadership is no longer the execution bottleneck
- Sales, accounting, and operations rely on a single, trusted inventory process
