• Accountabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain software solutions for financial processes.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and deployment.
• Build and enhance features for backend services and APIs, applying accounting knowledge to improve workflows.
• Identify automation opportunities and optimize reconciliation and reporting processes.
• Evaluate and deploy software tools, processes, and metrics to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide support and guidance on software systems usage for internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, coding standards, and industry regulations.
• Prior experience as an accountant or financial analyst.
• Solid understanding of financial operations, including reconciliation, reporting, and compliance.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java) and experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with backend API development and software engineering tools.
• Knowledge of software development methodology, version control, and release processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Effective communication skills in English (C1/C2) for collaboration with international teams.
