• In this role you will take ownership for scaling data science initiatives

• responsible to support a variety of analytics projects leveraging your skills
• in NLP, Python and SQL.

• No two days are the same. You’ll collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders
• to identify, design, develop and implement embedded analytics solutions. You’ll
• lead the design and implementation of data-driven solutions to address small
• business problems. Develop and deploy machine learning models to improve
• business processes and outcomes. Communicate complex analytical findings in a
• clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Stay
• current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data
• science and machine learning.

• To thrive in this role, you will be enthusiastic about the potential of advanced
• analytics and have direct experience and/or training. You will thrive working
• through technical issues with other data scientists and engineers to solve
• critical problems. You will have broad responsibility for all aspects of program
• success including troubleshooting issues, testing, quality control and
• overcoming production roadblocks. While you will have support across our
• Analytics team, you will be ultimately responsible for delivering successful end
• results.

• Hybrid work model, office in Porto Alegre/RS Office location.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

On a typical day in the life of a Lead Data Scientist at ADP

• * NLP. You bring training/experience in NLP to extract information from
• unstructured data and produce actionable insights.
• * Advanced Analytics. You have experience working closely with business
• stakeholders to understand needs and define analytic requirements. You have
• experience extracting and analyzing data (using Python and/or SQL) and can
• communicate insights back to the business through both presentations and
• visualizations (Tableau).
• * Continuous Learning. You enjoy discovering new techniques in Data Science /
• ML / GenAI and bring learnings back to inspire innovation and help the team
• overcome roadblocks.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

• * Bachelor’s degree in relevant coursework or a related field with 5+ years of
• experience in data science, or master’s degree in a related field
• with 3+ years of experience in data science.
• * Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
• * Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL and other
• tools (Databricks, AWS).
• * Strong understanding of statistical methods and data modeling techniques,
• including neural networks.
• * Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, advanced
• Excel).
• * Proven experience in crafting, testing and deploying ML projects
• in Python with keen focus on eliciting optimal outputs.
• * Experience working directly with business stakeholders to understand needs
• and translate into data science requirements, techniques, and solutions.
• * Communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and concise manner to both
• technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• * Solid understanding of LLM and GenAI is a plus.
