- ADP Labs. Located in Porto Alegre/Brazil, provides software development and
- infrastructure for world-wide ADP products, working with large scale initiatives
- across multiple geographies, including Brazil, United States and India. As an
internationally distributed software development team, we are hiring
- Sr Developer
- Responsible for developing software applications solutions for organization's
- external and internal clients. Developers may be involved in all aspects of the
- software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Developer's work with clients, product managers analysts, architects and
- engineers to plan, design, develop, test and implement information technology
- solutions consistent with the business objective. Developers may develop and
- review requirements, create design documents, write programs, package, test,
- configure and deploy software. Developers also participate and collaborate with
- other stakeholder including security, quality assurance, training, project
- management, engineering, hosting, - procurement when required to assist in other
- aspects of their projects. Developers at organization are expected to be
- results-oriented, have knowledge of new and legacy technologies, have knowledge
- of the relevant platforms and environments, and be familiar with business
- process, functions and data within their domain to provide innovative,
- insightful, and secure solutions.
- This position requires in-depth knowledge and experience. Uses best practices
- and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or
- services. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing
- solutions. Works independently, receives minimal guidance. Acts as a resource
- for colleagues with less experience.
- Requirements
- Education: Desired BA/BS degree -- or equivalent in education and experience.
- Experience: Desired a strong experience in equivalent or similar area.
- Fuctional Knowledge: Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own
- discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
- Business Expertise: Knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with
- others; is aware of the competitions and the factors that differentiate them in
- the market.
- Leadership: Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead
- small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.
- Problem Solving: Be able to solve complex problems; takes a new perspective on
- existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources
- of information.
- Interpersonal Skills: Communication - Explains difficult or sensitive
- information; works to build consensus.
