  • ADP Labs. Located in Porto Alegre/Brazil, provides software development and
  • infrastructure for world-wide ADP products, working with large scale initiatives
  • across multiple geographies, including Brazil, United States and India. As an

internationally distributed software development team, we are hiring

  • Sr Developer
  • Responsible for developing software applications solutions for organization's
  • external and internal clients. Developers may be involved in all aspects of the
  • software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Developer's work with clients, product managers analysts, architects and
  • engineers to plan, design, develop, test and implement information technology
  • solutions consistent with the business objective. Developers may develop and
  • review requirements, create design documents, write programs, package, test,
  • configure and deploy software. Developers also participate and collaborate with
  • other stakeholder including security, quality assurance, training, project
  • management, engineering, hosting, - procurement when required to assist in other
  • aspects of their projects. Developers at organization are expected to be
  • results-oriented, have knowledge of new and legacy technologies, have knowledge
  • of the relevant platforms and environments, and be familiar with business
  • process, functions and data within their domain to provide innovative,
  • insightful, and secure solutions.
  • This position requires in-depth knowledge and experience. Uses best practices
  • and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or
  • services. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing
  • solutions. Works independently, receives minimal guidance. Acts as a resource
  • for colleagues with less experience.
  • Requirements
  • Education: Desired BA/BS degree -- or equivalent in education and experience.
  • Experience: Desired a strong experience in equivalent or similar area.
  • Fuctional Knowledge: Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own
  • discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
  • Business Expertise: Knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with
  • others; is aware of the competitions and the factors that differentiate them in
  • the market.
  • Leadership: Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead
  • small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.
  • Problem Solving: Be able to solve complex problems; takes a new perspective on
  • existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources
  • of information.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Communication - Explains difficult or sensitive
  • information; works to build consensus.
