  • ADP SBS division is hiring a Lead Quality Assurance Analyst – Test Engineer
  • In this role, you will be building the RUN product, one of the most important
  • Human Capital Management solutions at ADP and in the world. The goal is to help
  • our customers (Small Business Companies) save time and stay compliant providing
  • them tooling to manage their employees. You will work within a scrum team to
  • bring the designs and ideas to life for new web applications integrated with
  • backend microservices, APIs and other systems.
  • You will start your day on a scrum call to sync up the sprint work and goal with
  • your team. You will spend most of your day continuously evaluating existing
  • coverage, identifying gaps, and implementing test strategies to achieve as much
  • confidence as possible on your automation. Your role requires you to advocate
  • for necessary changes to improve the end-user experience.
  • You don't need to know every technology, but you're an enthusiastic creator who
  • stays current and looks forward to trying new ideas. You're always looking for
  • new ways to make tools better.
  • In this role, you will work with the development team to gather details on
  • features we want to develop and use that information to build and execute
  • product testing for ADP's web-based Human Resource solutions to determine
  • customer usability before deployment. This role is critical to making sure we
  • deploy usable products.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Here's what you can expect on a typical day

  • * Agile: You understand that an agile environment requires flexibility.
  • Sometimes the scope is not fully written and you will have to talk with the
  • Product Owner and the team to get more details and complement the User
  • Stories. You and the team will define the sprint goal together. Working in
  • two-week sprints, you need to keep up with timelines. Time constraints and
  • fluidity of work often mean taking a creative approach to your testing
  • strategy. Starting test development in parallel with the feature development
  • may be one option.
  • * Create & Test: You'll define test plans and scenarios and will implement
  • automated test cases for large-scale, complex software applications. You will
  • focus on the verification and validation of applications from a system and
  • end-user perspective. 
  • * Collaborate: We work collaboratively, so you will communicate and collaborate
  • with technical developers and multiple stakeholders for your products. You'll
  • articulate clear and compelling reasons to persuade developers and Product
  • Owners to make product changes for the end user's benefit.
  • * Learning: You're always learning new codes and eager to figure things out as
  • you learn.
  • * Challenges: Inevitable challenges will arise, and we'll rely on you to look
  • for a solution.
  • WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: 

* Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in

  • * Quality Assurance Analysis and Test Engineering;
  • * Writing comprehensive test scenarios;
  • * Using API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI;
  • * Testing web UI and API-based applications;
  • * Implementing UI test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Cucumber
  • * Executing SQL or NoSQL database queries;
  • * Working with Continuous Integration processes and tools like Jenkins.
  • * Professional experience conducting manual, integration, smoke, performance,
  • and regression tests.
  • * Practical development experience in languages such as JavaScript, Java, or
  • C#.
  • * Professional experience as a Release Manager, including risk assessment and
  • release planning.
  • * Familiarity with observability practices and tools, such as Splunk and
  • Dynatrace.
  • * Experience with performance testing and optimization.
  • * Experience with accessibility testing and standards (e.g., WCAG, ARIA).
  • * Experience creating and maintaining test plans and ensuring traceability
  • between requirements, test cases, and defects.
  • * Experience working with generative AI technologies, including developing,
  • testing, or integrating GenAI models and solutions.
  • * Advanced English skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate
  • effectively.
  • * Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
