The Opportunity
Rex is seeking a LinkedIn Content & Growth Lead to transform an already established presence on LinkedIn into one of the most influential voices in tech entrepreneurship, business, and investing. The mission is to build a digital brand that attracts elite talent first and foremost, while simultaneously expanding awareness of Rex’s ecosystem, its products, services, and investment opportunities, and cultivating a loyal community of aligned investors, allies, and followers.
This role is both strategic and hands-on. You’ll own the full media engine - planning, filming, editing, posting, and optimizing content while deeply engaging with followers and the LinkedIn ecosystem. You’ll combine creativity and analytics to drive reach, resonance, and community engagement. The ideal candidate lives and breathes LinkedIn, understands its algorithmic heartbeat, and knows how to hack attention in authentic ways that spark meaningful conversation.

You will craft behind-the-scenes videos, thought-leadership posts, and timely commentary that embody the Rex voice and values. You’ll experiment relentlessly, test new formats, track performance metrics, and adapt strategies based on what works. Most importantly, you’ll build and serve a community, not just an audience - interacting daily through comments, DMs, and live sessions to convert casual followers into evangelists.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the digital voice of a growing ecosystem at the intersection of tech, investing, and culture, driving awareness, credibility, and connection through storytelling, content mastery, and audience obsession.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and operate the LinkedIn media engine – plan, film, edit, post, and manage all content in a consistent cadence.
  • Engage daily on LinkedIn through posting, commenting, DMs, and relationship-building to drive organic growth.
  • Produce and curate content across multiple formats: short-form video, carousels, written posts, and behind-the-scenes footage.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar, ensuring consistent pipeline and thematic cohesion across posts.
  • Track, measure, and optimize performance through data-driven iteration and analytics.
  • Coordinate editing and design workflows, including managing outsourced editors or contractors when needed.
  • Cultivate relationships with key creators and influencers, expanding visibility through collaboration and network effects.
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, monitoring Reddit, creator communities, and niche forums for emerging algorithm and content hacks.
  • Repurpose content across platforms while maintaining tone, authenticity, and voice.
  • Exercise exceptional judgment, balancing bold, viral storytelling with reputational and brand awareness.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 3–6 years of experience in content creation, social media growth, or digital brand building.
  • Proven track record growing a personal or corporate presence on LinkedIn or another professional platform.
  • Deep understanding of LinkedIn’s algorithm, engagement patterns, and virality mechanics.
  • Hands-on creator comfortable filming, editing, and producing video and written content.
  • Strong grasp of tech, investing, and real estate industries to ensure relevance and credibility.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and visual instincts, with a sharp eye for design and storytelling.
  • Community-fanatical: thrives on engagement, conversation, and direct audience connection.
  • AI-fluent: capable of using AI tools to craft, refine, and repurpose content while maintaining authenticity.

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $60,000 to $90,000 annually
Opportunity for performance based bonus and/or equity in deals and funds
