Purpose of the Role: The Logistics Lead is responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement initiatives to optimize Diageo's supply chain. This includes improving supplier relationships, driving balanced logistics solutions, and ensuring effective contract management. The role requires a strategic problem solver who can balance short-term operational needs with long-term goals, making informed decisions that deliver value to Diageo. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement/logistics within a multinational corporation. Relevant certifications (CPSM, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, PMP) are desirable. Strong understanding of global supply chain dynamics and logistics management standards. Consistent record in successful supplier negotiations and relationship management. Skills & Competencies: Critical Thinking: Develop long-term strategies aligned with organizational goals. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and E2E supply chain management analytics. Negotiation Skills: Secure favorable terms with suppliers. Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with advanced logistics software (Coupa CSO/SAP/Salesforce/Llamasoft). Communication Skills: Excellent verbal/written skills for collaboration in Portuguese and English. Category-Specific/Market-Specific Requirements: Lead Brazil Logistics procurement and Warehouse/Transportation subcategories in LAC. Serve as the single point of contact for Global Procurement Warehouse/Transport Manager. Engage with SCDs, multifunctional top management, and key market stakeholders on business priorities. Implement subcategory market plans and ensure alignment with global strategy. Strengthen the supplier base in Mexico by introducing new players to replace low-performing suppliers.
