We are looking for an experienced LearnDash and WordPress PHP developer to customize core behavior inside the LearnDash plugin. This work focuses on redirect logic, access control, and content visibility for non-enrolled users. Project Overview LearnDash currently redirects non-enrolled users from lesson pages back to the main course page. This creates two major problems: - Search engines cannot index lesson pages because the redirect blocks them. - We want lesson pages to remain publicly viewable, while keeping the real content locked behind enrollment or a paywall. Your job will be to: • Remove the automatic redirect for non-enrolled users • Allow Google and other search engines to index the public lesson pages • Keep the actual lesson content hidden unless the user is enrolled • Show a paywall or enrollment prompt to users without access • Preserve normal LearnDash functionality for enrolled students What We Need A developer who can modify or filter LearnDash behavior using PHP, WordPress hooks, and safe overrides. You should be comfortable working with: • WordPress core • LearnDash internals • Redirect and access logic • Conditional content loading • SEO considerations for partially gated content Required Experience We will only interview candidates who meet all of the following: • Proven LearnDash customization experience using PHP • Ability to show examples of real LearnDash work • Strong WordPress development background • Understanding of content protection, paywalls, or enrollment rules • Clean and maintainable coding practices Important Notice • Candidates who submit AI-generated, templated, or generic cover letters will be ignored.
