• In this role, you will provide specialized expertise in software engineering and machine learning to ensure high-quality delivery of domain-specific AI training data projects. You will define technical standards, review outputs, and advise on best practices, contributing directly to the creation of accurate, production-ready datasets and models. The position involves hands-on code review, structured QA, and mentoring technical contractors, ensuring compliance with client specifications. You will collaborate closely with project teams, guiding tooling, frameworks, and workflows to optimize efficiency and quality. This role offers exposure to a wide range of AI and ML domains, including NLP, computer vision, deep learning, and MLOps. Accountabilities

• Define project-specific technical standards, QA rubrics, and reference materials for machine learning and coding projects.
• Review project outputs, including code annotations and model configurations, flagging defects and providing actionable remediation guidance.
• Conduct structured quality assurance passes on deliverables, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with client specifications.
• Advise on technical tools, frameworks, workflows, and edge-case solutions to optimize project outcomes.
• Participate in contractor vetting, assessing technical skills, and providing targeted feedback for performance improvement.
• Support project scoping, technical requirements, and changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Curate “gold standard” libraries of code, scripts, and dataset annotations for training and calibration purposes.
• Build dashboards and track defect trends to identify improvement areas and enhance future project efficiency.
• Contribute to post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and refine technical standards.

Requirements

• Five or more years of professional experience in software engineering, machine learning, or data science.
• Deep proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, C++, or Java) and hands-on experience with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Proven ability to set, enforce, and maintain high technical standards in code quality and ML workflows.
• Experience producing technical documentation, quality rubrics, and training resources.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and consistency.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of delivering clear technical guidance to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently within defined project timelines and scope.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
