  • About the role: Marketing Manager
  • We are looking for a Marketing Manager with 6+ years of all-round marketing agency or in-house experience to join Preface, a global knowledge content and tech-enabling platform company redefining how individuals, organisations, and communities learn about technology.
  • This is a hands-on, strategic, and fast-paced role suited for a creative, data-driven marketer who thrives in a high-growth environment.
  • Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role sits within Preface’s core marketing organisation and plays a pivotal part in driving brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth across multiple business units. You will be responsible for building full-funnel marketing strategies, executing impactful multi-channel campaigns, and shaping the brand presence of Preface across Hong Kong and global markets.

What you’ll be doing

  • Marketing Strategy & Growth
  • Develop and execute full-funnel marketing strategies to support business goals across B2C, B2B, and community initiatives.
  • Build integrated marketing plans that include digital, social, events, partnerships, email marketing, and content.
  • Lead campaign planning and execution for major brand initiatives, product launches, seasonal moments, and retail activations.
  • Brand & Creative
  • Ensure consistent brand storytelling across all channels, formats, and touchpoints.
  • Oversee development of creative assets (copy, visuals, videos) with internal and external teams.
  • Drive brand innovation through bold, culturally relevant ideas and experimentation.
  • Demand Generation & Performance
  • Own growth targets, driving leads and conversions across multiple customer segments.
  • Manage digital marketing agency partners, ensuring strong performance across paid channels (Meta, Google etc.).
  • Optimise campaign performance using analytics and reporting dashboards; propose data-driven improvements.
  • Content, Community & Events
  • Lead development of content strategy across social, web, email, and offline formats.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, operations, and academy teams to ensure cohesive messaging and learner engagement.
  • Support execution of community events, activations, exhibitions, and pop-ups to grow awareness and deepen brand affinity.
  • Cross-functional Leadership
  • Work closely with Sales, Ops, Learning Experience, and Product teams to align marketing efforts with business priorities.
  • Manage external agencies and partners.
  • Maintain brand presence across all Preface spaces including campuses, Preface Coffee & Wine, and campaign locations.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of marketing experience, ideally in both agency and fast-growth in-house environments.
  • Proven track record in integrated marketing, brand building, and digital performance campaigns.
  • Strong command of multi-channel marketing, including social, paid ads, content, email, partnerships, and events.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns across teams.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability, comfortable working in ambiguity and delivering in fast-paced settings.
  • Excellent storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A humble team player with high ownership and a growth mindset.
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in technology, education, retail, lifestyle, or cultural marketing is a plus.
