  • Role Description
  • We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the on-site delivery of data center construction projects in Campinas, Brazil. This 100% site-based role ensures mechanical works meet approved drawings, quality, safety, and schedule requirements, while coordinating with the Project Manager, cost team, and GC to support construction execution, cost control, and mechanical commissioning in compliance with local codes and H&S standards.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and support on-site mechanical works for data center construction projects, ensuring alignment with established mechanical standards and best practices
  • Ensure mechanical installations comply with approved drawings, local mechanical codes, and health & safety requirements
  • Communicate technical solutions, issues, and construction progress clearly with engineering, site, and contractor teams
  • Coordinate closely with the Project Manager and GC Mechanical Manager to support construction execution and schedule adherence
  • Act as the mechanical quality control lead, monitoring workmanship and installation quality
  • Support mechanical commissioning activities in coordination with site and commissioning teams
  • Monitor site activities and report construction progress, risks, and technical issues clearly and accurately
  • Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience applying mechanical standards and practices on data center projects.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical solutions clearly to engineering and site teams.
  • Proven experience working with local mechanical codes and regulations.
  • Solid knowledge of construction health & safety requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English
