• We are looking for a professional who is focused on continuous improvement, curious and questioning, has a positive attitude, and demonstrates strong ownership of their responsibilities. This person should enjoy certain routines, have solid logical reasoning, and be comfortable interacting with people from various areas of EBANX and its affiliates.
• This role will focus on the accounting operations of affiliates located in Brazil, which means you will face a significant challenge, working daily with local professional service providers, delivering presentations, reports, and participating in meetings in both Portuguese and English, as you will be supporting a global company.

• The professional will be responsible for daily accounting routines and monthly closings for local companies, in partnership with local service providers, with a focus on COSIF-regulated entities.

You will also be responsible for

• Accounting entries, bookkeeping, and account classification;
• Supporting Purchasing and Accounts Payable activities related to the processing of fiscal and financial documents;
• Executing activities related to the accounting flow, ensuring proper accounting treatment in line with applicable standards;
• Account reconciliations and issue resolution;
• Monthly balance sheet and trial balance closing, and supporting the team in preparing reports for Controllership;
• Organizing accounting and tax documents;
• Providing support to the team when needed;
• Assisting and monitoring external audits and consulting firms, providing all necessary clarifications to ensure efficiency and quality in the work of local service providers.
• Must-Have Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in Accounting;
• Previous experience in medium or large-sized companies;
• Solid knowledge of accounting and tax routines;
• Advanced Excel skills;
• Basic English level;
• Ability to work independently, with the technical capacity to solve problems and keep operations running smoothly.
