I want to build a note-taking app. My goal is to have primarily an AI-focused note-taking app. Similar to how Cursor and AI IDEs can autocomplete, read documents, chat, etc. this app should do the same. Moreover, I don't like the way Notion, Evernote and Goodnotes handle handwriting, pdf reading and typing notes at the same time. Notion is good for typing. Goodnotes and Samsung Notes are good for note taking and Adobe Reader is good for pdf. But none of them can do this really well in a seamless way while integrating in multi platform. Can you propose the appropriate UX for this? Cool things I like to consider this note taking app should have: - Ability to copy/paste images from the web or slides and handwrite on top of it - Ability to type easily when necessary, with AI support - Ability to record meetings/classes and saving transcripts. Try to think outside the box here, imagine maybe fundamental abstractions that would be necessary to handle the user note-taking lifecycle in order to properly support multimodal inputs and multiplatform. (Example: the user will start a meeting or a class, this automatically triggers a transcription maybe? the user will likely have more quick notes during a meeting/class in phone/tablet but will benefit from search-able text, highlighting, Q&A chat, etc. when reviewing in a larger screen/mac/pc). In the end, the idea is that the app will serve as the primary companion for organizing ideas, studies, etc. I am not experienced in UX design but I imagine the deliverable in this case would be some sort of Figma design + any useful assets you deem necessary.
